All of the Keynes Controls vibrating wire sensor interfaces use the Auto-resonance sensor excitation technique to drive and take measurements from the sensors. This excitation technique offers superior measurements to Pluck systems and also minimises the strain put onto sensor coils.

There is very little wasted energy outside the band of frequencies close to the desired sensor resonance frequency. The systems automatically adjust the sensor excitation to the resonant frequency of the coil. All of the Keynes Controls range of vibrating wire interfaces have been designed optimise the life of the sensors.
