NP4000DasyLab Driver |
DasyLabis one of the many software packages fully supported by the NP4000 instrumentation. Complex tasks and simulations can be easily undertaken without any requirement to learn a new programming language. Large plant wide applications can be developed and maintained by simplifying joining icons on a screen. |
DasyLabDasyLab software provides a unique concept for the processing and control data originating from the NP4000 instrumentation. The use of the graphical user interface enables multiple experiments from many NP4000's units to be set-up and controlled across a network. Experiments can be setup quickly and changed to suit project requirements by simply reconnecting the icons. Figure 1 (Opposite) shows a typical DasyLab experiment. DasyLab's flow chart based design enables complex problems to be solved directly on the screen. The use of icons to represent instruments enables prototyping and simulations to be carried out quickly and and efficiently. Redesign of an experiment is as simple as reconnecting the icons even if the data is from an instruments widely disbursed across a network. No re-wiring is necessary. All the work can be done from your PC. |

OperationsThe standard driver software provided with each instrument supports multi-user and multi-instrument operations as standard. Information can be passed directly to DasyLab using a driver or OPC server interface. The multi-user functionality of the driver software enables many users to access data from the instruments, simultaneously yet independently of each other. This means that many operations can be underway from any number of users running different DasyLab experiments. Each user need only access data from the instruments of interest. There is no requirement to run the same experiment on each PC processing data from the NP4000's. Figure 2 (Opposite) shows a typical application set-up. Additional instruments can be added to a system to suit changing project requirements. |
